I found it very helpful to give my agent a list of features I wanted, grouped by priority. That helped her to eliminate properties that were lacking in "imperative" features, andassess other properties based on "extremely important", "fairly important" and "would benice", since it is unrealistic to expect to find every single feature you can think of. It alsogave me an objective way to compare. I ended up buying a townhouse that had almost allof my desired qualities.
